Alsager is a town in the south east corner of Cheshire
in the UK.
It was originally an agricultural village and the name is associated
with the Alsager family; three sisters who built the local Christ
Church in 1789. Today it is a modern town which has preserved its
original rural charm.
Alsager can be reached easily from the M6 motorway junction 16.
(See the Area Map and the
town centre Street Map)
There is a railway station which is on the line from Crewe to Stoke-on-Trent
and a bus service (Crewe-Hanley) which also stops at Crewe railway
station.
