Organised by the Alsager 2001 Committee, the event started with a parade through the town centre. |

After the parade there was a carnival in Milton park featuring:-

A wide range of equipment was provided for visitors to test their balancing and juggling skills. | ||||
A demonstration of gem panning was provided by Michael Pace of Newchapel Science Centre together with a stall providing magnifying lenses. | ||||
A medieval village was set up by the Poor Cnights of St Chad - a Staffordshire based historical re-enactment group. | ||||

On view in the Church was a textile exhibition by Alsager Patchworkers and Quilters and other groups. | ||||
This pebble mosaic was part of a display by Alsager Highfields CP and Church Lawton CP.
There was also a Millennium Family History Day at the Civic Centre. | ||||
