The government should stop subsidising air travel

• The money which the goverment is pouring into the aviation industry would be better spent on public transport.

• The fact that aviation fuel is not taxed makes air travel artificially cheap and encourages more air travel. This causes more pollution and more suffering for local communities as airports expand.
