Meetings every Wednesday in Alsager Library - 7.45p.m. Alsager Community Theatre is celebrating its 33rd year presenting outdoor theatre at Little Moreton Hall with a production of Carlo Goldoni's "A Servant to Two Masters" on 12, 13, 14, 19, 20 & 21 July. The beautiful and intimate courtyard of Little Moreton Hall provides ACT with an ideal setting for this classic 18th century Italian comedy. The play is set in Venice, where a riotous series of events, set in motion by the incompetent, and devious, servant Truffaldino pits two families against each other, breeding confusion and misunderstandings between two sets of lovers. Naturally all is happily resolved in the end! Our Little Moreton Hall productions often sell out, so early booking is recommended. Our audience is invited to join us early as the play will be preceded by a masque in the gardens, picnic areas and courtyard from 7.15p.m. Patrons can picnic on the lawns in front of the Hall before joining us for the evening's entertainment.
