Alsager War Memorial

Hi
Does any one have any information about Private W.Bostock whose name appears on the Alsager War Memorial situated at Sandbach Roads junction with Ashmores Lane. He was killed in the 1st World War.
Im looking for information about my uncle and wonder if this could be him. He was born in Sandbach but his brother was living in Alsager and worked at the Arms factory.
